Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi Celebrated 77th Independence Day

Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi celebrated the 77th Independence Day with tremendous zeal and national pride on Augest 14,2024. Saad Ahmad Warraich, Chargé d’Affaires of Pakistan to India, proudly hoisted the national flag at the Chancery Lawn during a solemn ceremony.

Saad Ahmad Warraich honored the visionary leadership of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, acknowledging their pivotal roles in guiding the Muslims of the subcontinent towards the creation of Pakistan. He expressed confidence in the dynamic and ambitious youth of Pakistan, emphasizing their potential to drive the nation toward progress and prosperity.

The event was attended by officers, staff, and their families from the High Commission. The ceremony featured national songs and speeches by children, which were met with enthusiastic applause.

Pakistan’s High Commission in New Delhi, a key diplomatic mission, also commemorated the day with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and a 21-gun salute in provincial headquarters. Special prayers were held in mosques across the country for peace, solidarity, and prosperity.
