Top Foods That Increase Uric Acid & Effect Your Health: Try Their Alternatives

Foods that Increase Uric Acid can cause gout, joint pain, and even kidney issues. Even though food is not just about taste but also about comfort and nourishment, what if this simple food affects your health and quietly increases uric acid levels?

Here are the top common daily foods that play a vital role in raising the levels of uric acid and their healthier alternatives:

Foods that Increased Uric Acid

  1. Rajma

Rajma or Kidney beans give plant-based protein to the human body. But it also contains moderate purine content (compounds that break down into Uric acid), which are harder to digest, especially when it is cooked with heavy masalas. It can cause inflammation in people who are dealing with high uric acid levels.

White and black chickpeas in small portions can be a good alternative and offer protein while increasing the levels of uric acid.

However, fenugreek leaves provide just as much nutrition but are easy to digest and lower in purine. These seeds increase the taste and freshness in a meal without increasing the risk for uric acid.
