Aurangzeb Ahmed, official spokesperson for the Pakistan Air Force, has gained popularity due to his composed demeanor and subtle humor during press conferences among the Pakistani public, especially the youth. Speaking to media, Aurangzeb Ahmed, air vice marshal, said on Sunday that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has targeted the highest airfield in a single mission since the 1971 war. He also explained that the PAF strikes were precise and avoided civilian infrastructure. He also stated that the operation was the response to recent escalations to stop further hostilities.
He said, This mission was executed on our terms, under clear instruction from leadership.” He added, ‘India attempted to establish a new normal through aggressive escalation. Pakistan’s swift and coordinated reply denied them that opportunity.” Air Vice Marshal further mentioned that Pakistan’s military radar and jamming system also blocked multiple Indian drones targeted at civilian areas.
