Armenia Visa-Free Access 2026 Announced for 113 Countries Including Pakistan

Armenia Visa-Free Access 2026 Announced for 113 Countries, Including Pakistan, bringing welcome news for travelers seeking easier entry into the South Caucasus nation. The government of Armenia has introduced a temporary visa-free policy that allows eligible residents of 113 countries to visit without obtaining a visa in advance.

Under the new policy, qualifying travelers can stay in Armenia for up to 180 days within a one-year period. The visa-free facility will remain effective from January 1 to July 1, 2026, providing a significant window for tourism, family visits, and business travel.

Pakistani nationals are among those who can benefit from this development, provided they hold a valid residence permit from eligible regions such as the United States, Schengen member states, or selected Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The residence permit must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry and should be presented in Latin script format.

The move is aimed at boosting tourism, encouraging foreign investment, and strengthening Armenia’s global connectivity. Travel experts believe the decision could increase visitor numbers from South Asia and the Middle East, particularly from professionals and families seeking new travel destinations.

For travelers who do not meet the visa-free criteria, Armenia continues to offer an online e-visa system, allowing applicants to apply digitally before departure.

Officials say the initiative reflects Armenia’s broader strategy to position itself as an accessible and welcoming destination while enhancing international cooperation during the first half of 2026.
