Chinese Companies Hiring: Over 500 Jobs Opportunities for Pakistani Youth in 2025

Chinese companies hiring will provide more than 500 job opportunities to talented Pakistani technical and vocational graduates under the theme of “Bright Skills; Building Futures.” The announcement was made during an inauguration of “Job Fair 2025” at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad on 27th May 2025.

The event is a collaborative work between the CCCPK (China Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan) and the NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical Training Commission) with guidance from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan, strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation. The event made as many as 20 leading Chinese companies offer jobs for Pakistanis.

The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan. Jiang Zaidong and the Minister of Federal Education & Professional Training, Khalid Maqbool Saddiqui, attend the event as chief guests. Moreover, Minister of State for FE&PT Wajiha Qamar, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan. Yang Guangyuan, Chairman CCCPK Wang Huihua, and Chairperson NAVTTC Gulmina Bilal also attended the event and delivered their speeches.

Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State of FE&PT (Federal Education & Professional Training), remarked that this event is not just a job fair; it is a declaration that Pakistan is showing its potential and Pakistani youth is on the way to making a bright future for the country. She also praised the way NAVTTCC has been supporting the URAAN Pakistani Program.

She also stated that boys, girls, madrassah students, and differently abled students are all being bestowed with skills relevant to the future, for example, IT, e-learning platforms, AI tech skills, etc. She also said that Pakistan is not alone; China is its supportive partner and is like family.

Yang Guangyuan, Minister Counselor of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan, declared that Pakistan and China are working together for a new phase of CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor). He also stated that it was the first time that relevant entities of both Pakistan and China had together arranged a job fair. The minister also mentioned that the majority of Chinese companies wanted to expand their business in Pakistan in the first quarter of 2025.

Wang Huihua, Chairman of CCCPK (China Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan), expressed his gratitude to all attendees, highlighting the contribution of CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) in energy, infrastructure, and even massive job creation. She also told the gathering that over 30,000 Pakistanis are currently working in Chinese companies of CCPK.

Gulmina Bilal, Chairperson of NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical Training Commission), also showed his gratitude toward the restless effort of CCCPK in coordination with NAVTTC. She thanked the Yang Guangyuan, Wajiha Qamar, and all the workers of NAVTTC who made this event happen and will make it a success.

She added that NAVTTC participants have created a work-ready workforce of all, including men, women, all religious people, and transgender people. She emphasized the importance of skills training for progress, which they have learned from Chinese people: skills and work ethics. She also described a plan for a series of job fairs in different parts of Pakistan, starting from Islamabad.

The event was concluded with a VIP round of stalls by Jian Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister of FE&PT, engaging with both employees and job seekers. They also appreciate their talents and made a commitment to companies toward skill transfer and local hiring.

Moreover, the job fair of 2025 is sponsored by Tang International Education, ITMC Technology Co. Limited, UNI Services International Limited, and CITY & Guilds. The fair will present the services of career guidance, CV collection, and direct interviews between graduates and recruiters.
