Prime Minister Sharif expressed optimism about Qatar’s potential interest in ramping up investments in key sectors of Pakistan. He reassured the delegation of the government’s backing through the Special Investment Facilitation Council, aimed at streamlining investor support.
Additionally, he extended warm regards to Qatar’s emir, prime minister, and foreign minister, reaffirming Pakistan’s enthusiasm for fortifying its relationship with the Gulf state.
Dr. Abdul Aziz conveyed a special message from Qatar’s leadership, expressing their keenness to deepen ties and explore new investment opportunities in Pakistan. In his capacity as Qatar’s envoy, Dr. Abdul Aziz reiterated Qatar’s commitment to fostering closer relations with Pakistan.
Earlier, the State Minister of Qatar visited the Foreign Ministry, where he received a warm welcome from Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The Foreign Office spokesperson highlighted the longstanding and comprehensive bilateral ties between Pakistan and Qatar.
