Pakistan Railway new business train is ready to unveil between two major cities of Pakistan with ultra comfort and luxury. The ultimate objective of the magnificent new business train is to provide passengers with a relaxing and digital experience while commuting to Lahore and Karachi.
The train will provide high speed Internet with a premium quality dining room. This new train is installed with 28 Digital coaches.
This step is the Railway Company’s comprehensive strategy to modernize Pakistan Railway travel services and would prove to be helpful for generating new passengers, ultimately contributing to the Railway department’s profits.
According to Pakistan Railways, this new train project is being constructed to create a new international level of comfort and services.
This Train will be operated from Karachi and Lahore. This two cities are referred as the biggest cities and this route is popular for attracting more passengers.
Before this, the Railway of Pakistan had initiated the privatization of 11+ trains under the model of Public Private Partnership (PPP).
According to PR, this train is launched to boost railway services, but critics say that this service will greatly affect middle-class people who used railways as a cheap ride.
Officials of the Railways confirm that the outsourcing will improve the quality of service. However, the public says that it will increase the rate of fares of train which is considered as a comfortable service ride in low fares.
Railway travel is considered as the budget friendly and popular mode of transit for the middle class and poor peoples in Pakistan. Almost 100,000 passengers use railways for daily transportation and most of them travel on major routes of Punjab and Sindh.
