Pakistan vs Bangladesh T20I series is announced to proceed as planned later this month, and the Bangladesh cricket team will come to Pakistan and will play five matches against it. It dismissed all recent rumors about delays or cancellations. Recent reports also indicate that BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) has not claimed any objections and officials from both boards are in regular contact.
The Bangladesh team will arrive on 21st May 2025, in Pakistan, after completing a T20I series against the UAE (United Arab Emirates) on 17 and 19 May 2025, in Sharjah. According to the schedule, the series will play in two cities; the first two matches will be held at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad and the following three matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Moreover, after Najmul Hossain Shanto resigned earlier this year, Litton Das was appointed captain for both tours and Mahedi Hasan as the vice captain. Interestingly, Pakistan held a strong position against Bangladesh in the T20I series. It won 16 T20 matches out of 19 and Bangladesh only gained three victories so far.
