The Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS), in partnership with the Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS), is set to host the 25th Conference on the Water-Energy-Food Ecosystem Nexus for the Security of OIC Countries from July 22-24 in Islamabad.
This landmark event, organized with support from the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, seeks to address the intertwined challenges of water, energy, food, and ecosystem security. These issues are vital for the sustainable development of OIC member nations, particularly as they face increasing pressures from climate change, population growth, and resource depletion.
