Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a Salman Khan new life threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reigniting concerns about his safety. The gang has demanded over $600,000 (₹50 million) in exchange for ending their ongoing feud with the actor.
The latest threat, delivered via WhatsApp, warns that Salman Khan’s fate could be worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui if the payment isn’t made. This Salman Khan new life threat has sparked heightened security measures around his Bandra residence.
The threatening message stated, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his feud with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹50 million. If not, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddiqui’s.” The Mumbai police are currently investigating the authenticity of this message, while tightening security around Khan’s home to ensure his protection.
This Salman Khan new life threat is not the first from the Bishnoi gang. In 2022, a threatening letter was found near Khan’s residence, and in March 2023, an email was reportedly sent by gang members.
Most recently, in January 2024, two unidentified men attempted to break into Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel using fake identities, further intensifying concerns for the actor’s safety.
Adding a new dimension to the ongoing saga, Somi Ali, former girlfriend of Salman Khan and a well-known women’s rights activist, invited Lawrence Bishnoi to a Zoom call. The activist, who is based in the United States, took to social media to address the gang leader directly, urging him to have a conversation.
Bishnoi, currently imprisoned in Sabarmati Jail, has been alleged to participate in video calls from prison. Somi Ali posted a picture of Bishnoi on her Instagram with the caption, “Namaste, Lawrence bhai! I’ve heard you’re making Zoom calls from jail, so I have a few things to discuss with you.”
