At Insight Pakistan, we are committed to responsible, accurate, and independent journalism. This Editorial Policy sets out the standards and principles that govern how we create, verify, and publish content.

Our Editorial Mission

Insight Pakistan exists to inform Pakistanis with reliable, fact-based, and accessible news and analysis. We serve our readers — not political parties, advertisers, or special interests.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are made entirely by our editorial team and are not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, government bodies, or political organisations. Advertising and editorial content are strictly separated.

Accuracy and Verification

Before publishing any article, our writers and editors:

— Verify all key facts using at least two independent sources where possible

— Cross-reference claims with official data, government statements, or credible expert opinion

— Clearly label opinion and analysis to distinguish it from news reporting

If we are unable to independently verify a claim, we say so explicitly in our reporting.

Headlines

We do not use misleading, sensationalist, or clickbait headlines. Every headline on Insight Pakistan accurately reflects the content of the article it introduces.

Sources

We cite our sources clearly within articles. Where sources have requested anonymity for legitimate reasons, we protect their identity but explain why we have done so.

Conflicts of Interest

Our writers and editors disclose any real or perceived conflicts of interest. No writer may cover a topic in which they have a personal or financial stake without prior editorial approval and disclosure.

Corrections Policy

We take accuracy seriously. If we make an error — factual, typographical, or contextual — we correct it promptly and transparently.
