Famous Tv Star Hina Dilpazeer Got Single Actor Salary for 25 Roles in the Drama ‘Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah’ which aired from 2012 to 2014.
During an appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast “Excuse Me,” Hina Dilpazeer revealed that she was initially tasked with playing three or four characters. However, whenever the showrunners couldn’t find an actor for a role, she was asked to step in.
“How was I supposed to do that? How many faces could I make?” she questioned, explaining that the director and writer repeatedly requested her to play multiple roles.
Hina Dilpazeer expressed that the showrunners tested her patience, making her play 25 characters, including five male ones, throughout the show. She recounted one episode where she portrayed all the characters, describing it as an “experience” that took two to three days to shoot.
“There were three of me sitting in the rickshaw. I didn’t watch that episode out of fear,” she shared with a chuckle.
When asked why she didn’t demand higher pay, Hina Dilpazeer mentioned that whenever she did, the producer would share stories of financial hardship.
“When the show ended, he [the producer] would chase after me, asking if we should go to another channel, but I was not interested,” she stated.
Hina Dilpazeer noted that the show ended abruptly when the TV channel decided the next episode would be the last, leaving the cast and crew with no explanation after nearly 400 episodes.
