The PTI internal conflicts have escalated, placing the party in a challenging situation. Former President Arif Alvi has shown hesitance to lead the committee formed to address divisions within the party. According to sources, Arif Alvi has not yet agreed to act as a mediator amid the growing unrest.
A senior leader, who preferred to remain anonymous, stated, “We have been trying to convince him to play his role. If he declines, we may seek another respected figure that is acceptable to all factions within the PTI.” Arif Alvi was proposed as the committee head, with the expectation that he would consolidate the various groups and provide recommendations within a week.
