He warned the terrorists that they are mistaken if they believe they can halt Pakistan’s progress by targeting innocent civilians and security personnel.
He also emphasized that the militants aim to disrupt key projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and to drive a wedge between Pakistan and its allies. He announced that the government would provide all necessary resources to the security forces, even if it meant reducing other expenditures, to eliminate the terrorist threat.
