CBG to Establish First ‘Inverters and Batteries Manufacturing Plant’ in Pakistan

China’s Hexing Electrical Group is set to launch a pioneering venture in Pakistan’s renewable energy sector, focusing on inverters and batteries. During a meeting with Minister for Privatisation, Abdul Aleem Khan, Chairman Liangzhang Zhou revealed the group’s plan to establish a new industry focused on manufacturing inverters and batteries. This would mark the first of its kind in Pakistan, with substantial investments directed toward the production of inverters and batteries.

Hexing Electrical Group, which operates in 90 countries with a workforce of over 7,000, has successfully established factories in 20 states. Now, it aims to replicate this success in Pakistan by setting up an office and launching the inverters and batteries manufacturing industry.

Welcoming the initiative, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted the vast investment opportunities in Pakistan. He emphasized that the current business environment is ideal for such ventures, particularly in producing inverters and batteries, and assured potential investors, especially from China, of extraordinary investment facilities.

The establishment of these new factories will not only create employment but also boost exports. Minister Abdul Aleem Khan further noted that transferring industries from China to Pakistan and focusing on inverters and batteries production would be a significant and welcome development.
