Adventure City Park is a brand new entertainment project of CDA to attract numbers of tourists in Islamabad. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced it would build a state-of-the-art Adventure City Park in Islamabad to make it the biggest tourist destination in the country.
CDA made this announcement during a meeting on Friday, April 11, 2025, hosted by Federal Secretary of Interior Muhammad Ali Agha at CAD Headquarters. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, members of the environment, and other senior officials were also present there.
The officials canvassed suitable locations for the development of Adventure City Park in Islamabad. During the meeting, it was enlightened to make this project a major tourist destination as their supreme priority. They also discussed that the project will include walkways, eco-friendly landscaping, cycling tracks, sitting sites, beautiful gardens, and all facilities with a modern touch.
Moreover, according to Randhawa, the project aims to grab the attention of a large number of tourists, including international tourists as well. Therefore, the park will propose a mixture of national and international food, cultural and social facilities, and tourist-oriented services.
Along with the Adventure City Park project, the chairman also planned to build a sewage treatment plant (STP) for long-term environmental sustainability, and financially applicable models will also be installed to enhance the popularity of the park.
Chairman Randhawa ended the meeting with the statement that they are determined to position Islamabad among the world’s most beautiful and tourism-friendly capitals. Therefore, he instructed the CDA community to make Islamabad’s natural beauty and landscape more attractive and beautiful.
