AI Powered Smart Classroom Project Initiated By Punjab Govt in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz unveiled the AI-powered Huawei Smart Classroom Project at Government Kinnaird Girls High School, Empress Road, marking a groundbreaking step in education reform. This innovative initiative, developed in collaboration with Huawei, marks a significant milestone in the integration of advanced technology into Punjab’s educational framework.

The Smart Classroom Project, a cornerstone of the “Back to School” enrollment campaign, introduces cutting-edge technology into classrooms across the province. Among the highlights are advanced cameras that record lectures, enabling students to review and engage with lessons beyond the classroom. This project not only enhances the quality of education but also makes learning more interactive and accessible for students throughout Punjab.

Our goal is to elevate every government school to the standards of the best private institutions,” she stated.

The launch event was attended by prominent figures, including Parliamentary Secretary for School Education Nosheen Adnan and Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, highlighting the collaborative efforts that brought this project to fruition.
