Digital Driving License Punjab New Initiative Announced – Here’s How to Apply

The Punjab Traffic Police has introduced an innovative initiative of Digital Driving License Punjab for vehicle drivers, as it is easy to carry and verify licenses through mobile phones rather than carrying in hard copy.

Sometimes, a citizen forgets to carry his/her driving license. To solve this problem, the Punjab Traffic Police now announced a digital service that provides a soft copy of their driving license on mobile phones.

This system is a part of an inclusive campaign to encourage all drivers across the province to follow licensing regulations. People can face legal penalties or challan if they are found driving motorbikes, cars, or heavy vehicles without a valid license.

Moreover, this digital document is proof of a legal driving license and is accepted by traffic law enforcement authority.

Now, with the activation of the digital license system, eligible candidates can access a digital copy of their licenses after they pass theoretical and practical tests.

How to Get a Punjab Digital License:

Eligible candidates can apply their driving license through Punjab Traffic Police official website: www.dlims.punjab.gov.pk
