Malala Yousafzai reminisced about singing Swift’s “Love Story” with her best friend, Moniba, during middle school, and described the Eras Tour as her first “proper” concert experience. She celebrated the occasion with her husband, Asser Malik, and close friends, trading colorful friendship bracelets and making Swift’s signature heart hands.
In her caption, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate highlighted the importance of music, noting that in Swat, it made her and her friends feel confident and free. She expressed hope for a future where every girl can enjoy music and live out her wildest dreams.
