Pakistan Beats Kuwait 3-0 in Asian U18 Volleyball Championship Advances to Top 8

In a remarkable display of skill and determination, the Pakistan beats Kuwait 3-0 in  Asian U18 Volleyball Championship at the 15th tournament held in Bahrain. The set scores of 25-19, 25-11, and 25-19 highlighted Pakistan’s dominance throughout the match, marking their third consecutive victory and securing their place in the Top 8 round.

With this latest win; Pakistan has advanced to the Top 8 round, joining Group F where they will face formidable opponents Japan and Chinese Taipei. The Green Shirts will carry forward their winning momentum into these crucial matches, which are scheduled for August 1st and 2nd, 2024.

The tournament began on a high note for Pakistan, who achieved a thrilling victory over South Korea with scores of 25-22, 23-25, 17-25, 25-20, and 13-15. This was followed by a convincing 3-0 win against India, with set scores of 25-20, 29-27, and 25-15.

In recognition of their impressive performance against India, the chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation has announced a reward of $100 for each player and coaching staff member.

The Pakistani squad, consisting of Talal Ahmed, Abu Bakar, Muhammad Issam, Muhammad Hassan, Gibran Ajmal, Junaid Muttahed, Ali Shah, Muhammad Junaid, Muhammad Yahya, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Nasir, and Khizr Hayat, continues to showcase their talent and dedication on the international stage.
