During the official agreement signing ceremony between SWD Sindh and NADRA, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Mir Tariq Ali Khan Talpur proudly announced that Sindh is the first province in Pakistan to introduce such a dedicated program for senior citizens.
“This initiative demonstrates our dedication to honoring and assisting this vital segment of our community,” said Talpur. “By bringing back the former Azadi Card as the Senior Citizen Card Sindh, we are ensuring that senior citizens can benefit from enhanced services tailored to their unique needs.”

In a major step to support agriculture, the Sindh govt has announced the distribution of Benazir Hari Cards to farmers via Sindh Bank. The initiative aims to provide essential resources and financial assistance to farmers across the province. Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar confirmed the collaboration with Sindh Bank to distribute the cards. The first phase will benefit 298,000 registered farmers owning up to 25 acres of land, focusing on smaller landholders facing challenges accessing resources.
