Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan Travels to US for Urgent medical Care following an eye procedure in Mumbai that did not go as planned. The actor, known for his numerous blockbuster films and philanthropic efforts, sought specialized treatment in the US following a sudden health issue. The recent development has raised concerns among fans and the film industry alike.
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan visited a Mumbai hospital on July 29, 2024 for an eye treatment. However, complications during the procedure have necessitated further medical intervention abroad. A source close to the actor revealed, “Shah Rukh Khan went to a hospital in Mumbai for an eye treatment, but it didn’t go as planned. He is now being rushed to the USA to address the complications.”
The specifics of the initial treatment and the resulting complications have not been disclosed.
This incident comes after a previous health scare for Shah Rukh Khan, who experienced a heat stroke on May 21, 2024 while attending an IPL match in Ahmedabad. He was hospitalized for a day and subsequently discharged.
The recent health issues have sparked concern among fans and colleagues. During his hospital stay in Ahmedabad, Shah Rukh Khan was visited by his wife, Gauri Khan, and his long-time friend and KKR co-owner, Juhi Chawla. In a May interview, Chawla had reassured fans about Shah Rukh Khan’s recovery.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in the film “Dunki” (2023), is currently reported to be working on Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming project, “King.”
