Arshad Nadeem Aims to Make Pakistan Proud in Paris Olympics 2024 Javelin Final, showcasing his exceptional talent and determination. Arshad Nadeem, 27, secured his spot in the Javelin Throw final with an impressive 86.59-meter throw in his first qualification attempt on Tuesday.

“I want to make Pakistan proud in the Olympic Games,” Arshad Nadeem shared with Geo News.

Defending champion Neeraj Chopra from India also advanced to the final, achieving a remarkable 89.34-meter throw in his initial attempt.

“I hope Neeraj Chopra and I will make our respective countries proud. Neeraj Chopra is a good friend, and we will focus on the final round,” Arshad Nadeem added. “I am optimistic about delivering a good result in the final,” he continued, expressing gratitude to his fans for their support.

The Javelin Throw final is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, at 11:25 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Athletes needed a minimum throw of 84 meters to secure a place in the final round, where they will compete for medals. If fewer than 12 athletes met the 84-meter mark, those with the best throws would qualify.

Arshad Nadeem has a history of impressive performances. He won a silver medal at the World Championship last year and clinched a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 with a stunning 90.18-meter throw, becoming the first Pakistani athlete since 1962 to win gold in the competition.
