Pakistan will proudly participate as the guest of honor at the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition, scheduled to take place in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, from September 20 to 24, 2024 as announced by Ghulam Qadir, the Commercial Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing.
Ghulam Qadir emphasized the growing exchanges between Pakistan and Shaanxi in recent years, particularly in the context of the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition, highlighting a variety of collaborative efforts across multiple sectors.
During a visit to Xi’an in early June this year, Prime Minister expressed a strong desire to enhance bilateral exchanges with Shaanxi, focusing on critical areas such as economy, trade, energy, agriculture, education, and fostering sister city relationships. Economic cooperation will serve as the cornerstone of these initiatives.
Pakistan’s role as the guest of honor at the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition is expected to significantly bolster practical cooperation between the two regions. Ghulam Qadir further noted that a substantial delegation from Pakistan will be present at the exhibition, showcasing an impressive array of Pakistani products.
