Imran Khan Reacts to Indian Aggression and Expresses Condolence to Victims

Imran Khan reacts to Indian aggression, saying that though the nation is divided on some issues, it firmly stands united against Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister’s aggression and warmongering against Pakistan. According to a post on his X account, while speaking to the lawyers at Adiala jail Rawalpindi, khan said, “while we reject this fake regime, we stand firmly as one Pakistani nation and strongly condemn Modi’s war-mongering and his dangerous ambitions that threaten regional peace.”

The former prime minister, Imran Khan’s reactions come against the backdrop of increasing tension between the two nuclear army neighbors after the Pahalgam attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which led to the death of 25 tourists and one local civilian. India blames Pakistan for the attack. Since then, New Delhi has not only  downgraded its political relations with Islamabad but has also suspended the Indus Waters Treaty.

However, Islamabad denied the claim and also termed it a “false flag operation.” To discover the truth, Islamabad further offers a transparent and independent investigation by a neutral commission of experts. Moreover, Attaullah Tarar, the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, has alerted that, according to credible intelligence, India intended to carry out military action against Pakistan in the next 24 to 36 hours on the excuses of baseless and fabricated allegations of involvement in the Pahalgam incident.

Although Ishaq Dar , the Deputy PM and Foreign Minister, would not make the first strike, to any aggression by India, it would respond forcefully. “Pakistan’s military predicts the possibility of a misadventure by India but is prepared to respond with force,”a note above reads. A senior security source has stated, following Dar’s remarks.

Speaking to the reporters on the condition of obscurity, the source who holds a key position guaranteed that any Indian aggression would get a “very strong response.” The source also stated that the military is on high alert and fully prepared to face any cross-border challenge. This level of preparedness has increased confidence among Cabinet members, the PM and the politicians, which shows that the military of Pakistan is able to give a befitting response to India’s warmongering.

As the situation is getting worse between the two countries, Imran Khan, who was the prime minister of the country during Pakistan’s retaliatory action through Operation Swift Report against Indian airstrikes after the Pulwama attack in Indian-illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, extended his condolences to the victims of the Pahalgam attack and their families. “Instead of introspection and investigation, Modi Sarkar is again placing the blame on Pakistan,” he added.

“When the false flag Pulwama Operation incident happened, we offered to extend all-out cooperation to india but India failed to produce any concrete evidence. As I predicted in 2019, the same is happening after the Pahalgam Incident,” Khan commented.

Assuring his support to Kashmiris, the PTI founder said that he always emphasized the importance of self-determination rights of Kashmiris, guaranteed by UN (United Nations) resolutions. “I have been highlighting the fact that India, led by RSS ideology, is a grave threat, not only to the region but beyond it. Indian oppression in Kashmir, intensified after the illegal abrogation of Article 370, has further fueled people’s desire for freedom,” he stated.
