Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Unveiled roadmap to resolve Balochistan Issues through inclusive dialogue. Speaking at a meeting on law and order and development at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Mr. Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent need to tackle security concerns as anti-state elements threaten the province’s peace.
Mr. Ishaq Dar assured that Balochistan holds a special place for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the government is committed to resolving the province’s challenges. He acknowledged the current economic difficulties but remained optimistic about Pakistan’s bright future, despite temporary setbacks.
The Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted the necessity of eliminating anti-state elements and stressed the government’s resolve to foster sustainable development and growth. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti provided updates on development projects and the security situation, stating that enhancing education and healthcare remains a top priority.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti also introduced new reforms to improve governance and build trust between the state and its citizens. Notable initiatives include a scholarship program for Ph.D. students in science at 200 top global universities, and targeted scholarships for minorities and marginalized groups.
Sarfraz Bugti raised concerns about the limited release of federal funds for development projects, warning that continued restrictions could delay project completion for decades. He called for a stronger federal commitment to accelerate Balochistan’s development and bring it up to par with other provinces.
The Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar assured full federal support for Balochistan’s progress, with the meeting attended by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, and other senior officials.
