A PTI worker attack on stage actor allegedly occurred near the Punjab Assembly. In a dramatic incident a female worker from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), identified as Aneela Jutt, reportedly attacked stage actor Tahir Anjum. The confrontation occurred while Anjum was driving past the PTI hunger strike camp.
According to the FIR, the altercation led toTahir Anjum’s clothes being torn, and he received death threats. The police swiftly acted onTahir Anjum’s complaint, arresting AneelaJutt and identifying her as the main suspect, alongside unnamed associates.
Aneela Jutt defended her actions by accusingTahir Anjum of spreading defamatory videos about PTI’s founder, Imran Khan, calling him a “terrorist.” Despite police and bystander efforts to defuse the situation, the attack persisted until Tahir Anjum managed to flee.
Tahir Anjum condemned the assault, strongly denying any involvement in spreading derogatory content about Imran Khan. He expressed outrage over the threat posed to his family, particularly his children, during the incident.
The police continue to investigate the incident, while the PTI faces criticism for the actions of its members. This incident highlights the increasing tensions and political unrest in the region.
