Arshad Nadeem made history at the Paris 2024 Olympics by launching a colossal 92.97-meter javelin throw, securing Pakistan’s first-ever individual gold medal in the Olympics and the nation’s first gold in any discipline in 40 years. The ceremony, held on August 16, 2024, saw the presence of COAS General Syed Asim Munir, Arshad Nadeem’s family, and a host of legendary sports figures, including members of the 1984 Olympic and National Hockey Teams, the National Cricket Team, and other notable athletes from various sports disciplines.
